Pressing flowers
was my hobby for the last few years and was a trial and error method
till I got hold of the online course of 'Flower Pressing Secrets' by
Sandra Fisher.
This course is very
useful for those interested in the fascinating craft of pressing
flowers. It is an easy read and a step-by-step guidance with
illustrations which are very helpful to beginners.
After

Since I have always enjoyed making my
own greeting cards, I decided to buy Sandra Fisher's e-book on
Pressing Flowers.
I'll tell you, it's a wonderful book. And what a teacher she is! She
makes everything so clear and easy to grasp.
She takes you step by step. She tells you everything you'll need. She
makes recommendations on which flowers and leaves are the best to use,
and which ones would be a waste of your time. (Seems like I like the
weeds the best. They were thriving in the crack of our asphalt
driveway!)
Sandra has done all the
"experimenting" for you. She also uses lots of illustrations to show
what she has done with the flowers.
For the past 15 years I had been drawing flowers, cutting them out,
then pasting them onto greeting cards. Now, I can leave all the
"drawing," the "coloring" and the "cutting out" to God. Yep, now I'm
using God's flowers.
While I've done flower pressing many times in the past, I just
couldn't get them to retain their brilliant colors. Now that's
no problem.
Sandra's book would make an ideal gift if you have grandchildren who
are artistic. They can "harvest" the garden flowers all summer long,
and "reap" the rewards all winter long.
